BENEFITS OF TURBOCHARGER
Home Page > Website Section Choosen >

A- Turbocharger Engine is Efficient.

Turbocharger's job is achievement of the required power with smaller engine volumes; this feature has 3 advantages:

1- Smaller engine means less weight, this means your mobile vehicle will bear less load.
2- Smaller volume means your vehicle's engine will take less space. This makes the use of space more efficient.

3- Since smaller engines will have smaller surface areas compared to large engines, energy lost to friction will be less and this will provide better efficiency with your engine.

B- Turbocharger Engine is Environment-Friendly.

In the first years turbocharger started to be used, only the generated power was considered. In following years keeping exhaust emission values at certain standards was made mandatory and this caused extra effort of engine manufacturers to improve their engines. In order for these engines to meet the emission values, turbocharger became a must. Today engines having these standards (Euro 1-2-3-4) all have turbo.

Turbocharger sends more air to the engine, and this results in the fuel burning more easily, more properly and more clean. Today's turbocharger diesel engines emit 50% less NOx and CO2 compared to other engines.

C- Turbocharger Engine Allows for a Safe and Pleasurable Drive.

Due to the high torque produced by turbocharger engine, resilience of the engine increase and acceleration reaction time is reduced. This provides great advantage to the driver while overtaking or in situations requiring immediate power. Additionally in high altitudes density of air is decreased, this causes the engine losing thrust. This problem is not encountered in turbocharger engines.
